Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) Injections – Now Available on Prescription

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medication available as a weekly injection pen. It is licensed in the UK for blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes and has recently also been approved for weight management in certain patients, under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

At My Weightloss Centre, eligible patients can complete an online consultation to determine if Mounjaro may be appropriate for them. All consultations are reviewed by a qualified prescriber, and if approved, a private prescription will be issued and dispensed by our registered pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria:
Patients may be considered for treatment if they meet specific clinical requirements, such as having a BMI of 30 or above (or 27+ with related health risks), as determined by our healthcare team during the consultation.

How It Works:
Mounjaro is administered once weekly using a pre-filled injection pen. Each pen delivers multiple doses of the same strength. Treatment should always be combined with a healthy diet and physical activity, as advised by your prescriber.

Usage Information:

Inject once a week, on the same day

Administer into the stomach (abdomen), thigh, or upper arm

Rotate injection sites weekly

Do not mix with insulin in the same injection

Follow your prescriber’s instructions carefully
